DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, October 18 from 11 – 1 pm \nAt least half of all breast cancer cases are preventable\, and lifestyle choices can enhance survival after breast cancer has been diagnosed. Learn about how you can improve your odds of beating breast cancer with physician Dr Nora E. Hanke\, who will share information from the Physicians Committee’s Food For Life curriculum in a 2-hour\, interactive class. We will have discussion\, view an educational video\, there will be cooking demonstrations\, and everyone gets to taste dishes that help women and men prevent and fight breast cancer. Participants go home with written materials including the recipes. \nThe intended audience are breast cancer survivors\, their family and friends\, and those wishing to reduce their chances of breast cancer. Both men and women are welcome! All materials included.
