The Jaffrey Civic Center seeks artists to display up to two works of their art at its annual Fall Art Exhibit: Friday, Nov. 20–Friday, Dec 18, 2020. For more information, please contact the Center at Info@JaffreyCIvicCenter.com, or call 603-532-6527.
The Jaffrey Civic Center galleries, classroom and conference spaces are handicapped-accessible. A ramp off of the back parking lot is available for individuals unable to climb stairs, as is a lift that runs between the first and second floors. The basement, which houses the Jaffrey Historical Society, is not currently handicapped-accessible.
The entry fee is $25 per person, maximum 2 entries. (Checks payable to Jaffrey Civic Center). All paintings/photographs need to be framed and ready to hang with a wire. Sales commission is 30%. Artists may also submit non-hanging pieces for the floor portfolio.
There will be a People’s Choice voting for both photography and multi-media divisions. First Place, Second Place, and Honorable Mention will be awarded upon the end of the show as a result of the PUBLIC attendance voting.
Please Note: There will be no formal opening reception due to COVID-19, and the Center will be following NH and CDC guidelines for safety. Masks will be required to enter the building.
Deadline for application: November 6th
Artwork Drop off: November 17 and 18 12-5, unless other arrangements are made
Pick up: December 19th or 20th or after the holidays
